When treatment is indicated, we will work to restore optimum dental health in as few, well planned appointments as possible. Once all treatment options have been discussed and agreed a detailed, printed treatment plan and estimate of costs is given. We appreciate the value of your time and know the importance of a controlled budget. we would ask in return your consideration in attending appointments on time and meeting the agreed upon financial arrangements. We appreciate that occasionally it is unavoidable to cancel or miss an appointment. It is the policy of this practice to exercise discretion and not to charge for either appointments missed due to a genuine emergency, or non-emergency cancellations where we are given at least 24 hours notice. We accept that, due to the uncertainties of life, there may be one such 'missed appointment' in any one year, although the practice reserves the right to charge for long appointments that are missed. For other cancellations we will endeavour to fill the time allocated to you with another patient but, if we are unsuccessful, we reserve the right to charge for the time lost. Any appointments missed and charged for will be subject to a charge of £20.00 per 15 minutes.
